Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

The My Spectrum app was created to make it possible for the users who still enjoy watching TV online to sign up and manage their Spectrum accounts from any point of the world for free and with ease.

Interface – 3/5

My Spectrum does not offer as a snazzy interface as some other counterparts do. You will not find slick menus like Spectrum’s competitors have, nor will you get plenty of smart tips and tricks. However, the app’s interface is more or less functional. While you won’t get any pleasure from using it, you’ll get what you need to be done fairly efficiently. All in all, there is definitely room for improvement in this department.

Content and Features – 4/5

The app, which is available free of charge, was developed primarily for people who are still interested in television programs like news and shows. The main feature of My Spectrum application is to make the process of payment for the Spectrum bill quicker and more convenient. It also lets you access any TV channels and control what kids are trying to watch. Parents can prevent their kids from adult or strong language content.

The app also allows managing your Spectrum account and settings from any location in the world. It offers an upgraded look at Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks. My Spectrum also makes it possible to troubleshoot equipment and tools that prevent you from having a positive experience.

The main features that My Spectrum offers are:

  • Hassle-free account setup

  • Quick troubleshooting

  • Adjustable Wi-Fi settings

  • Simple My Services registration

Usability – 3/5

Even though the application might be relatively simple to use, mind that its overall usability and functionality is worse than Time Warner used to have (that is the one replaced by My Spectrum). For instance, you are not able to manage your device features like monitoring and switching on or off call forwarding. You might want to access your modem with ease remotely instead of learning its type.

Also, some users report problems with usability. Once they sign in, they are immediately logged out of the system. The app has a long way to go before it can be considered stable.

Compatibility – 5/5

My Spectrum is oriented to serve iOS and Android devices. Those who use Apple devices will need to make sure that they have iOS version 9.0 or up if they wish to install My Spectrum. The app is compatible with such devices as iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Those who have Android devices should make sure it’s version 5.0 or later.

My Spectrum is free and simple to set up and use. Its primary goal is to provide a centralized app experience for all Spectrum subscribers. It is not necessary to switch from My TWC, but My Spectrum developers state that the latter has improved performance. They also work hard on fixing all the major bugs.

With this app installed on your device, it becomes faster and easier to pay your Spectrum bills. Overall, the app is worth using if you wish to ease your work with the company’s services.
